Company History
The company was started in 1958 by Brent Wadsworth with the primary focus of working with golf course architects to build / renovate golf courses to the highest of standards. Mr. Wadsworth was a golf course architect and realized a need for a quality builder that put the client and the architect first. The company quickly realized a need to expand beyond the initial office in Plainfield, Illinois and opened offices in Buckeye, Arizona and Oldsmar, Florida. Later offices would be added in Hawaii and Pennsylvania. Today the offices in Illinois and Arizona manage the projects spread throughout the country.
The Wadsworth Company takes pride in the many long-standing relationships they have built of the past 64 years. While working with 100+ golf course architects on more than 1,000 projects across the country, the company now is renovating several of the courses they have originally built. The quality of the product withstands the test of time and ensures pride from the architect and the Owner.

The initial motto was to be the World’s Premier Golf Course Builder and that motto still stands today.
