MAGCS Assistant Superintendent Education
When: Tuesday, February 9th, 9:30 am via Zoom
Who: All Assistant Golf Course Superintendents are invited to attend.
What: The MAGCS Assistant Education Committee has arranged two speakers for the session:

Tyler Rae, Golf Course Architect (www.TylerRaeDesign.com) will lead things off talking about a variety of topics as they pertain to golf maintenance and design. He’s planning to cover drainage, native areas, tee, bunker and green building, grasses for bunkers, new species of grasses for greens, the importance of grassing lines, how to firm up approaches, tree removal and specimens and their management. 

Wyatt Byrd, Golf Course Superintendent of Biltmore Country Club will talk about his transition to Superintendent and his first season experiences.
