Highlights of Education include:
Dr. Rick Latin will share his expertise in the realm of fungicides. He will speak using them effectively, creating combinations, tank mixing with other products and managing resistance. He’ll cover the latest formulations and chemistries available for use on your golf course from all manufacturers.
Mr. Zach Nicoludis, USGA Agronomist will talk about trends in the golf maintenance industry and how best to manage your course for today’s golfer.
Dr. Jeff Atkinson will speak on all things related to wetting agents and their use. He is the current Director of Agronomy for Harrells; a role he has held since 2018. Dr. Atkinson earned a Ph.D in plant and environmental sciences, a Masters of Science in plant physiology and Bachelor of Science in turfgrass management from Clemson University.
Dr. Derek Settle, CDGA Turfgrass Director will provide a CDGA Turfgrass Program Update including a divot study and more.
Our afternoon roundtable discussion will focus on the future supply shortages and different strategies to get the materials you need for your golf course. Rusty Stachletwitz will moderate this group including, Brian Winkel, Syngenta, Andy Morris, BASF, Grant Rundblade, Reinders, Ryan Gilmore, Revels and Kody Key, Rain Bird.
