2026 MAGCS Match Play Championship

Find a partner and get ready to play in the 2026 MAGCS Match Play Championship. Who likes to play alone? We’re going to play as a two-person team. Find a partner and sign up. $40 per team (only one person has to sign the team up). Entry deadline is March 16th. Matches are handicapped best ball.

• Registration: $40 per team/ $20 per person
• Matches are handicapped best ball
• Teams are guaranteed to play three matches

• CDGA HDCP's are required and will be verified by the Golf Committee
• Match deadlines will be maintained, no exceptions
• The Golf Committee will reveiw unplayed matches and determine what team advances
• Matches must be 18 holes
• Particpants must be members of MAGCS in good standing
• Field limited to 32 two-person teams - randomly drawn after registration closes

Each two-person team will be assigned to a pool with three other teams for a total of four teams in each pool. Each team will play the other three teams and the winner of each pool will advance to a single elimination tournament vs. the winners of the other pools. All teams will play a minimum of 3 matches.  Pool play will be conducted in April, May and June. Championship tournament play will begin in July and end in September. 

Please fill out the registration form for each contestant, including email and cell phone. MAGCS will create contact lists for each pool and distribute them to help with the scheduling of pool play matches. 

Please sign up ASAP, limited to 32 Teams.  A USGA/CDGA handicap is required for play (or the player will play to scratch).  A detailed rule sheet that covers the format, tiebreakers, handicaps, etc. will be sent to all participating teams after registration is complete.
