Event Overview

Event: Briggs & Stratton Small Engine Teardown – hands-on technical training

Host: Russo Power Equipment, in partnership with Briggs & Stratton / Vanguard

Dates: Tuesday, November 3 and Wednesday, November 4, 2026 (two separate, complete sessions — same content each day)

Time: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM each day. Please arrive no later than 8:45 AM so we can start promptly at 9:00 AM.

Location: Russo Power Equipment, 21660 South La Grange Road, Frankfort, IL 60423

Parking: We ask that attendees try to park in the lot highlighted in the attached image. If full, additional spaces will be available on the side of the store.

Seminar Description

This hands-on technical training seminar guides technicians through a systematic, step-by-step teardown and reassembly of the Briggs & Stratton Model 305447-0068 V-Twin Overhead Valve (OHV) engine. Emphasis is placed on controlled, organized disassembly methods, proper component identification, precise torque specifications, and vital clearance adjustments such as valve lash and armature gap setting. Participants learn factory-recommended repair procedures using genuine Briggs & Stratton specialty tools, parts, and maintenance products.
